What is the difference between vacuum casting and low pressure perfusion|www.easoar-soon.com

1, vacuum casting and low pressure perfusion

01. Vacuum casting mold.

Small batch production without mold saves cost and time\

·         Vacuum casting|Custom silicone mole|custom resin mold|rapid mold

This is a common processing method.

A bit of the advantages of vacuum casting mold is also obvious, lower cost, less processing failure rate, with good repeatability.

It is mainly used for plastic hand plate small batch customization.

In general, the demand is between dozens and hundreds for vacuum complex molds.

This method of processing is more cost-effective, but if more than, it is not applicable.

Therefore, in the selection process, in addition to factors such as material, tolerance and cost, the number of products also affects the selection of the process.

In vacuum conditions, the product prototype is used to make silica gel mold under vacuum conditions, and the mold is poured (PU, transparent PU, POM, ABS) and other materials under vacuum conditions to form the same copy with the product prototype.

It can achieve the strength and hardness of ABS and other materials, and can also be configured according to the needs of customers to copy color, clone and the same copy of the product prototype.

02. Low pressure perfusion

It has the advantages of high efficiency, short production cycle, simple process and low cost.

It is suitable for the production of small batch trial production, small batch production, cover parts with simple structure, large thick wall and uneven wall thickness products in the process of product development.

Low pressure injection is a two-component polyurethane material mixed, injected into the rapid mold at room temperature, low pressure environment, through the material polymerization, crosslinking, hardening and other chemical and physical processes to form a product.

2. Different from the same.

As can be seen from the above, the principles of vacuum complex molding and low pressure perfusion are similar, but there are still significant differences, mainly reflected in the following two aspects:

01. Applicable to different objects.

Vacuum casting mode is used mainly for small batch small plastic planks (such as ABS, PC, acrylic panel, etc.).)

, while low pressure perfusion, in contrast, is used to replicate large plastic hand plates, such as car bumper hand plates.

This kind of hand plate has a large volume, and it can not be used without a large silica gel mold, so it is not suitable for vacuum complex mold process.

One of the biggest differences is the difference in the application objects of the process.

02. Silicone molds of different sizes.

Because the low pressure filling is to make a larger hand plate, naturally, the silica gel mold will be larger and harder; The vacuum mold makes the hand plate with a smaller volume, so the volume of the silica mold will be smaller.

The size difference of the silicone mold volume is also obviously different.

However, the principle of vacuum modeling technology is similar to that of low voltage perfusion. Both of them reproduce a prototype through physical objects, and then make a silicone mold through this prototype, and then make a batch replication through this silicone mold.

As can be seen from the above, the main difference between vacuum mold and low pressure perfusion is that the volume of the hand plate is different, the volume of the silica gel mold is different, but the principle is similar, suitable for small batch production.
